Michael Shea

Michael Shea is co-founder and MD at Wider Team Ltd and The Dingle Group LLC, and founder of the Vienna Digital Identity Event.  Michael has over thirty years of experience in the software and manufacturing industries in roles ranging from engineering to sales and delivery. Michael has lead people and organisations in the delivery of solutions to challenging problems on a global stage. He has integrated teams of different cultures with a focus on growth, is advising start-ups and SMEs on business model definition, strategy and organisational culture. He has direct experience with Blockchain and decentralized technologies, Digital Identity (Sovrin Foundation).  He is the Chair of the Self-Sovereign Identity IoT Working Group for the Sovrin Foundation, and IEEE/UL P2933 Clinical IoT WG - Trust & Identity SubGroup Co-Chair.
