Marzena joined The FA in 2017 to lead the process of engaging football audiences and potential partners in the Women’s game 6 years after the FA Women’s Superleague was created – it was the first women’s league in Europe to become professional in 2017/2018. Her role has been to champion women’s and girl’s football inside and outside The FA, with a primary focus on changing fan and community perceptions, raising the profile and driving commercial value of women's and girl’s football. Her work, alongside a strong team at The FA, is about changing the landscape of football for the long term by creating equal opportunities for men and women, boys and girls to play and benefit from the sport.  

Marzena has extensive experience and understanding of commercial rights, specifically around the Olympic Games provides invaluable support when dealing and managing commercial partners, rights holders and broadcasters. She was the Architect of the Team GB brand and concept in 1999 that has grown to be one of strongest sporting brands in the UK, and lead the successful FA bid to host the 2021 Women’s Euros in England, which will now take place this summer.
