Liam Halligan is among the UK's most influential economists. He is best known for his weekly “Economics Agenda” column in The Sunday Telegraph, which he has written since 2003 – and which has been recognised with a highly-coveted British Press Award. He also presents his daily "On the Money" show on GB News - and writes regularly for The Spectator and The Sun.

Having previously led the economics and business coverage on Channel Four News, Liam has also written and presented a string of long-form documentaries for Channel Four's flagship Dispatches strand. He has also been Political Correspondent at The Financial Times and reported from Moscow for The Economist.

Liam holds economics degrees from the Universities of Warwick and Oxford - and has held research posts at the London School of Economics and the International Monetary Fund - and often appears on flagship BBC programmes such as Question Time, Any Questions and Radio 4’s Today programme.
