Liam is a trained Economist who has reported on economic realities, policy and its impacts for many years, meeting with ministers, business and ordinary people to create a clear and comprehensive for of what’s going on and where trends will take us - in the UK and elsewhere. In his talk Liam will address the challenges & opportunities for business leaders to stimulate growth and drive productivity given the economic / policy and energy environment. He will address under dealt with economic problems and legacies, the current and future inflationary environment, the energy and cost of living crises this country faces and how this has been exacerbated by, but not started by, the Ukraine-Russian war.
