Voice4Change

Director

Kunle is the Director of Voice4Change England, a national policy voice and membership organisation championing the voice of the Black & Minority Ethnic community in business and the social enterprise sector. Its objective is to engage with policymakers to drive more informed and responsive policy making and support civil society organisations that emerge from and work with these communities to provide support and drive positive social change and greater equality. Kunle is a co-opted member of the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, a member of the board of the English Heritage Foundation and the Third Sector Steering Group of the Living Wage found. He is a trained historian and believes that it is time to develop a new narrative around race equality away from deficit models. Working in a sector that, he is acutely aware of how the lack of diversity in thought is crippling serious debate on social policy issues, particularly Race.

Kunle will bring an historical perspective to the current discussion over Race and opportunity today for Black & Minority Ethnic communities, right up to date with the work he is doing in the social and third sectors.
